Seems like every time I try to draw nowadays, it looks REALLY good, and then I step back and I think, "Why the *hell* did I just draw that?"

...I'm not doing too good, I'm afraid. I don't want to give up, I just want to get better. They say practice makes you better, but I've been drawing for the past 3 years and I haven't seen much of an improvement! (The "How To Draw Anime" books aren't a very good learning material for me, either. I just don't get it.)
